Louvre Systems Ltd is a UK based engineering company, specialising in the design and manufacture of two main product lines, these being; passive ventilation and solar shading.
The company is located in Dunton Bassett near Lutterworth in Leicestershire, see map for directions. This area has a proud tradition of innovation in Engineering, being the birthplace of the Jet Engine, invented and developed in Lutterworth by Sir Frank Whittle during WW2.
We have excellent transport links to the rest of the UK, being within just a few miles of the M1, M6 and M69 motorways, as well as the high speed rail links at Rugby and international flights via East Midlands, Birmingham and Luton Airports. We are located in a semi-rural setting, enabling us to keep overheads to a minimum, whilst still offering all the benefits of an industrial facility, for example plenty of room for articulated vehicles to deliver raw materials and pick up finished goods.
We use local companies for our powder coating, anodising and welding requirements. Keeping transport costs low, and our carbon footprint to an absolute minimum, whilst at the same supporting local businesses.
Our fabrication team are all time served engineers, who between them have many years of accumulated knowledge in such diverse disciplines as sheet metal work, tool making and logistics, as well as a wealth of experience in fabricating our products. This means that whatever the project we have the appropriately trained staff to come up with the solution and the product.
We supply our products ready-to-install, either by our customers, or by our own approved sub-contract installation team. For smaller orders we deliver using a local “next day” carrier, where we need to deliver larger orders or long lengths of material we use our own transport and drivers.
We can provide shop drawings if required, showing the general arrangement of a proposal, and CAD drawing of our system profiles are also available. These can be downloaded if required to allow clients to integrate them into their overall design drawings.
